I hear what your saying nycalt. I know times are tough right now in the no record op world. But you have to wonder, if they can collect the money for express shipping from thousands of people, and give them the cheapest shipping method possible, then they are in fact ripping people off. The only problem is, how do we know if it was an innocent mistake, or if it intentially done to hundreds or thousands of people? We really have no way of telling for a number of reasons including the fact that people are so happy to actually get their order correct and intact that they will just let it slide without saying anything. I would agree that if this is happening to alot of people, refusing the package would be a good idea as the op would loose around ten bucks per order for the cod fee and would learn real quick not to do this to people. But how realistic is this? I will be the first one to admit if this happened to me, and the ups guy was standing there with my meds, I would pay so I could have my long awaited meds in my hands. I still don't know exactly what point I am trying to make in this post, but I don't think it is right for some of these nr op's to do things like this including price gouging because the market is tough right now. I can see them all raising prices because of supply and demand, but charging someone for express or overnight shipping and not doing it is just wrong. IMO. I just reread your post and agree that if an op says it will take 2 or more days to process the order, it would make no sense to use overnight shipping. I used to order from buymeds before I found DB, and sometimes it would take over a week to get approved from a doctor, but they only shipped 2 day fed ex free. |
