This is what I did and it worked, but let it be know that the firat time I tried this was late in the day and I got shut dowm. I arived at the Pick up location right when it opened. Told them that I had spoken to both the shipper and Fed Ex numerous times about getting a Saturday hold. It would be much easier just to have te sended take two seconds of their time and check the hold for Sat pick up section on the airbill. Anyway I politely went in there and explained my situation and that it was supposed to be here for p/u. (Which it really wasn't, and i also gave them a name of a supposed manager at FX that said it would be done. I also explained that it was very important medication that I can't go a day without taking. They began to search furiosly for the package and at one point the still was at the ramp. Long story short I went back up there @ 2:30 and they still couldn't locate for awhile. Fortunatley patience and perseverence prevailed. I had the package in my hand and out the door @ 3. So remember the motto: you get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. Treat those guys/gals with respect and they will do the best they can. I think the reason I got refused the first time I tried it was the fact I shoulded up late in the afternoon when most all of the help was gone. Thats my story, and I hope it helps for all the people who get screwed with no Saturday shipping and rude OP cust serv that just wont go out of their way and help. The weekend is looking pain free.
