Just to exemplify how hard it is to obtain; my uncle is a doctor in a different state. He wrote me a script for 30 percocet and I tried to fill it here in California. Even after I told the pharmacy to call his office, they would not fill it because the script needed to be in triplicate and from a doctor here in California. Very hard to get. I even called a number of smaller mom and pop pharmacies, but no one would relent. Such a bummer to have to rip up a perfectly good prescription for percs.
