Hello Barett. I think you might be surprised how many of us here are over 40 and over 50 as well. Most people certainly don't talk about their age, but a lot of times you can get a pretty good idea by their posts. When some of us talk about things we did as ADULTS thirty years ago...well, you see what I mean? When I first discovered these types of boards, I thought it was for the twenty-something crowd too, but not so.

I am sorry you and your hubby are having such a tough time. I never dreamed it would happen, but I lost my health insurance a few years ago. And as you are quite aware, as we get older, more and more things start to go wrong and it becomes critical to have health care...but that's another issue for another thread. It is always in the back of my mind that I could get really sick...and then what?

I am glad you found the board. As you can already see, there are others out there with similar circumstances as yours.
