Re: DON'T CATCH THIS ONE- Black Plague of IE

Well, as I think I mentioned, I'm reporting her from Firefox now.

However, I do have Adaware and Spyware Blaster on my computer ( for a couple of years already, actually). Zone Alarm I added a couple of months ago. SpyAssasin and Ad-Aware 6 I downloaded today. . . along with removing IE from my system.

One site that was suggested to me was www.pandasoftware.com , where there is a freescan that most of these anti Microsoft bugs forget to block. Unofruntaely, I don't think the scan itself is up to date, but there is are some program that you can do one-time trials offers on. It also won't prevent you from installing another browser, thank god. Just don't go to the microsoft site and attempt to d/l anything. You can't.

Mccaffee, of course, won't show up at all.

As a matter of fact, I need to go to mcaffee and squeeze whatever I can out of it, now that I've got Mozilla. . I may have deleted IE, but that surely doesn't mean the bug isn't waiting in th wings somewhere to to attack. . .whatever.

Worse still is that my IP (SBC DSL) keeps booting me at the mosst most innopportune times.
