I use Ad-Aware. I think that's considered spyware.
Its an excellent free spyware detector - an anti-spyware program. I run a spyware scan prior to shutting down my laptop each night...just remember to check for updates each time you run it as new spyware is developed constantly and Adaware updates the detectors daily.
