I personally am not an opiate user nor a chemist. Here is the source of my information. Personally knowing the poster, I believe it to be fact, take it or leave it...the writer is a moderator in the forum linked to, and has deleted many posts about "extractions" of other substances (such as DXM) because they were potentially unsafe. Water extraction involves only that- water.

Here's another source. As with anything read on the web, one should try to research further before accepting this as hard fact.
