This identical issue was just deleted from the boards in another thread. The other issue--about why DB uses the words "oxycontin" and such on their entrance page is discussed in Change the entrance screen of DB (another thread.)

As I responded in that post, so I will respond here:

My guess is that the reason the page won't get changed is that "oxycontin" "oxycodone" or catch phrases like "buy oxycodone" are hot search engine words and with such things on the entrance page (even though there is an explanation to the contrary) and with the search engine spiders, DB gets more hits from people using those search phrases.

It's good for their business, folks. Right, wrong or indifferent.
