To original poster: if anything, you probably got a virus from opening this email..... TONS of viruses are spread by way of 'Warning: Virus on the Loose' type of emails. Infact that is probably the #1 type of spam that viruses travel through. Think about it from a hacker or virus-writer's point of view: get a chain letter going about 'beware the virus' - Lots of people open it because they think it is of *utmost importance* - open the attachment, BAM! got a virus. I used to work in tech support for an ISP - trust me this is a major cause of people getting viruses. Just the online version of the classic 'urban legend' tales, but in this case, reading the urban legends can infect your PC. I wouldn't open any unsolicited mail (someone probably did - I know it was forwarded to you by a friend, but who *originally* got this email? It was probably a spam sent to someone way down the forward:forward:fwd list of email addy's..... I also don't open mails from friends that have forwarded attachments -- I trust my friends but not when it comes to computer intellect...
