My condition warrants prescription for oxycodone but my bank account/lack of insurance kinda gets in the way. That's why I have to resort to OP's for schedule III's like hyro/apap I get now. Anyway, when I have breakthrough pain, a friend of mine will gractiously give me one of his oxycontin 80s. My usual dose is 40 mgs so I cut this in half and ingest but when I did this the other day, I also crushed it to a fine powder and ate it because I was late getting to the pain and I needed immediate relief. To be honest, I barely felt any relief from the half of 80 I crushed. Compared to the usual 10/325 hydro/apap I take, they were of equal strength. The oxy 80 I ate, or half of it crushed, appeared to be a generic. My friend usually has round, green pills that say 80 on them. This was green, oval and said 93 on it and I wondered if this pill contained the antagonist described in this thread. I looked up this description in rx websites and none of them list the pill I described.
