I recently read that approximately 60% of the prescriptions for neurontin are for off-label uses. It's only FDA approved for siezures. So if your doc is prescribing it for pain management maybe you can call he/she out on this and ask for something that is approved for pain management not just marketed for it by the drug rep.s. I read that the drug reps are pushing it for chronic pain, migraines, etc..
