40mg hydro orally is = 7.5mg morph iv/in/subq. it takes .6-.8 mg temesic(sublingual) to = 10mg morph iv/im/subq. I was not sure if you were talking daily does or 40mg hydro per dose (that's OK by my DR's Rx).
