Vioxx is similar to any other prescription medication. It works well for some and doesn't work at all for others.

I have tried Vioxx, and it didn't provide any more relief for me than does Tylenol. However, my father takes Vioxx, and it works quite well for him. In fact, it works better for his back pain than does hydrocodone.

So, don't knock Vioxx just because it didn't work for you. Each person responds differently to prescription medication.
