screw a high school diploma!! I slept my way thru, but I did get one. But I too am intelligent in my own way with or without the diploma. I do not understand the working of the computer or any other electronics but I am in the process of raising three really cool young people and I can rebuilt a motor

and cook an awesome ham dinner. Although I must say I do find it very interesting and would love to learn more one day. I do hope you feel better sonick.
