Re: Article in JANE magazine

ppppphhhhhllllllbbbbbbtttt!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Why don't they do a story on how easy it is to get acupuncture, or stick to an exercise regimen, or show some bloody discipline in what one eats in the first place in order not to have to diet or use diet aids.
Then they could do a story on how hard it is to stick to anything when chronic pain steals away your built up resolve.
Then they could do a story on a young woman who looks healthy and makes an effort to look good no matter how she feels, and PAY!!! for the research of her visits to Pain Clinics and invasive testing; she could publish a dramatic timeline on how long it takes to get an accurate diagnosis, and the eroding of her self-confidence along the way!

What do you all want to bet that this writer considers it chic to get blasted on Cosmopolitans and doesn't understand why pot isn't legalized.....

I am so tired of brash people, who are just burning for their 15 minutes of fame, but don't want to put more than 15 minutes into getting it.

Absolutely they should be focusing on CHILD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, ohd. That is a tragedy that should be real news.
What about The Taxol Case? You all hear about that yet? Bristol-Myers is being sued by the U.S. District Courts because they squashed cheaper versions of the drug that more women stricken with breast cancer could have afforded.
What about their children?
There's a stirring story.

Oh, wait. It is still a glam rag, no matter what they try to say about being edgy. (Please!)

So why not do a story on the beyond heinous Diamond Trade.
How young people are duped into paying big money for something that if DeBeers would let loose their inventory, they could afford to buy big enough stones to wear in their
navel. How that trade begins in Sierra Leone, one of the most miserable places on earth, where children are forced to work in horrific conditions and threatened with amputation (not just a threat) if suspected of pilfering.
As far as their medical care, hey here's a thought:

WHY DOESN'T JANE MAGAZINE DO A STORY ON HOW EASY IT IS TO ORDER ITEMS ONLINE AND SEND THEM TO CHILDREN HERE AND EVERYWHERE WHO NEED THEM, THEREBY BYPASSING THE WARLORDS AND ADMINISTRATIONS THAT EXPLOIT THEM.

THERE'S A STORY!!!
