BTW, I would believe that statistic - (about the growing # of people buying their prescriptions online) - My mom takes several medications - for depression, rheumatory arthritis, migraines, and blood pressure - And she barely knows how to use the computer. She doesn't even know what a search engine is. (I told her to use one once, and she said 'What's That??' - She doesn't know much about computers and the internet, except how to log on, and check her email. But she has somehow figured out how to 'price shop' for her prescriptions, and now gets all of her prescriptions filled online....... Definitely lots of people doing this. Hope this doesn't come out the wrong way - but one of the most important (and money-consuming) things in life for older people, especially over 60 - is getting their proper medications and medical treatment without bankrupting their accounts... I'm not just talking about people in chronic pain, but all older people - Most senior citizens, even if they do not have a 'chronic condition', are still on 5-6 medications a day, whether they need all of them or not. Blood pressure meds, heart meds, etc. etc the list goes on. So, in my opinion, medical information and/or medications is probably in the TOP THREE of things that the 'older population' are looking for when they shop online. I know that is the case with the older people in my family (I am late twenties - just to explain why I keep saying older people

) I think medications were the first thing my mother looked for when she learned how to shop online, and she has never heard of an 'OP' or a doctor consultation, or a foreign pharmacy, or whatever, in her life.... She just knows people do lots of shopping online, and hey! what better thing to look for than cheaper prices on this cornucopia of medications I am taking! She has never heard of an OP, but uses online pharmacies to fill all her prescriptions these days. Infact, drugs and baby clothes (for the ggrandkids not for me!

) are about the only two things she purchases on the net.
