This article makes me laugh and cringe. What a moron!! Just because his rich, spoiled daughter got caught with her pants down, we all have to "be saved from ourselves."
Oh no, the government is afraid that I might try to get 5 extra Vicodens for my chronic pain. I really don't see what the big hoopla is over prescription drugs lately. The government should be worried about the cost of prescription drugs and look at how many people can't afford them; not trying to track down a few addicts out of a whole bunch of legitimately ill people!
If I need another reason to hate the Bushs', I have one now. Who in their right mind voted for these people?? Also I wonder what the medical community in Florida thinks of this. You know, its the government agencies like the DEA that turn doctors into uncompassionate, paranoid individuals when it comes to "DRUGS". I can't even get a refill on the 20 Percosets for a really painful kidney stone!! My doctor said that after a week of treatment with the percs, "the risk of addiction is too great." Where do they learn that stuff?? I guess I am supposed to waste valuable time and money going to the ER when I have another episode. I mean I still have the stone and it gets painful at random times. I don't understand the logic of this at all. I want the Government to stay out of my medicine cabinet!!
