I find this show very powerful, as you said, Forgot. I appreciate how they intersperse addiction issues with behavioral issues, and the actual intervention sessions, while shown in an abbreviated fashion, really show the level of denial that people can experience, whatever their addiction is. Particularly the gambling guy - that was extremely intense.

I missed the show about the online pharmacy and the "cutter" girl, but i do know some people who have self-mutilated, and their feeling was that when they were doing it, it was a way of actually seeing the pain they were experiencing inside themselves on the outside of their bodies...an actual, physical wound they could look at and say "that hurts," which they were able to use to process their feelings inside. Such a sad thing.

I think this show goes a long way toward unraveling the puzzle of denial, and hopefully hits home for those who may need help.
