I remember him as the hippy dippy weather man, tonight darkness, tomorrow daylight, and of course his best ever was the news report on the "Freak Accident", 3 freaks in a van ran into 3 freaks in a Voltswagon. I don't think he's anymore bitter than Dennis Miller, just honest and intelligent. And bitterness tends to increase with age for some. He's still one of the greats and has to be intelligent to have made it through 4 decades of drugs and lived to be 67.
