Naproxen has been on the market for nearly 30 years, and NOW we are being cautioned about its use? There seems to be a pattern here..vioxx, celebrex, naproxen...doesn't this sound like take the money and run...deal with the possibility of having to withdraw the product later?

And not directly related, but kind of the same issue...did anyone read today about possible DNA damage from cell phone use (again, get the $$ first, deal with the safety issues later)?

Is there something wrong with this picture or am I wrong to assume and/or expect certain governmental agencies (that we, the taxpayers, fund) are supposed to help ensure product safety for its citizens? Oh, I forgot, it all comes down to the $$$$...
