Drug Bust in Kingston Center

(October 7, 2004) On Wednesday, October 6, the Kingston Police Department, armed with a search warrant conducted a search of 42 Summer Street (Route 3-A) in the Kingston Center area. The action was the result of a month long investigation which focused on an individual obtaining large quantities of Hydrocodone via UPS delivery from pharmaceutical companies in Miami, Florida. Hydrocodone is a Class C prescription drug.

Police recovered a large quantity of Class B and Class C drugs. As a result of the search, 25 year old Location In Proximity To School…
Sean Haggerty was arrested and charged with the following:

- Possession of Class C
- Possession with intent to distribute Class C
- Obtaining drugs by fraud
- Possession of Class B
- Possession of Class D
- Drug violation near a school or park

The Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office assisted in the search.

The Observer notes that there are several pre-schools located around the corner on Evergreen Street. Sources say the investigation involved stakeouts, searches of garbage and the UPS delivery schedules. It is also believed that Haggerty's computer was seized. The apartment complex is across 3-A from the Observer offices.
