I have a knee doctor who told me last January there were problems with these new wonder drugs. He had quit prescribing them at that point. He only spoke of vioxx and celebrex. He just said there were side effects and they were not as good as advertised. I did not pay much attention to him as I do not take them. If he knew this ten months ago why so long to pull vioxx? He also seemed very sure celebrex was just as bad. He is a well respected doc at a major metro knee clinic,that takes care of most of the pro teams in town.
