I find it especially interesting, considering the fact that all this time that I've been having trouble with back pain the amount of times that I was sent home with bags full of samples for Vioxx with a prescription for it, yet my old doctor wouldn't prescribe me the prescription strength Ibuprofen I asked for, let alone a narcotic or opiate pain medication. It's also not surprising that she prescribed me an antiarthritic med since she was the quack that misdiagnosed me as having arthritis in my back without even sending me for so much as an X-ray, let alone an MRI.

If it hadn't been for my most recent experience when I aggravated my condition at my old job, I probably would have never found out that I even had herniated discs or degenerative disc disease in my back at all. At least the Comp doctors were kind enough to milk my case long enough to send me for an MRI and get me a real diagnosis. Of course, I didn't have a job to go back to once they got done with me, but that's another issue entirely.

I can almost bet on the fact that the fact that my old quack doctor even prescribed Vioxx to me is going to be oh so conveniently "omitted" from my medical records. I only took it a few times, but hell, what if I had taken it consistently? I probably wouldn't have lived long enough to be writing this post, that's for sure...
