OMG.... you just reminded me! Talk about government and PILLS!

My ex-boyfriend was a Vietnam vet with PTSD, 100% service connected. He went to the VA every month, received 200 Valiums (forget the mg... they were yellow) PLUS the same amount of Serax........ ALL FREE! Didn't cost him ONE PENNY!

Now I feel that veterans are entitled to every benefit they can get and he DESERVED to get his medicine for free, but I told him many times that it seemed like the V.A. (e.g. GOVERNMENT) was actually trying to KILL him by giving him that many pills.

During this time period a friend of ours actually did commit suicide. He received the same meds from the same place as my boyfriend, and it was no accidental overdose. He had tried multiple times before, and the V.A. was aware of this.

Sorry for spouting off, but I'm sick of the government trying to interfere with my "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness."

I think you're right, though. Probably doesn't matter who is elected President. Things will just probably get worse.
