When, oh when is our government going to learn from our own history?? Don't they remember prohibition? They outlawed alcohol and it turned into a huge black market and organized crime nightmare. They realized the error of their ways and repealed it. But how long is this absurd "war on drugs" going to go on? They do not allow cancer patients the life saving, nausea stopping, appetite increasing, NATURAL marijuana, they want to all but outlaw opiate pain medications - I just don't get it! It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

I don't know if anyone watched the Oscars last night, but the most telling moment for me was when Billy Crystal stated that he hosted the awards 13 years ago and

"Boy haven't things changed (NOT!), Bush was in the White House, the economy was tanking and we were at war with Iraq",
