Unfortunately, this is already in the works Red. Google "Codex Alimentarius" + vitamins and see what the UN and our FDA have planned. If it is up to them, all vitamins and herbal supplements will have to be Rx'ed from a doctor, no more OTC sales. This isn't something that just started with the current administration, it has been going on for awhile. (Not that I particularly care for the current administration, but that is my opinion).

The key is to VOTE! Get involved, write your representatives, participate in the process if we can. Regardless of Republican, Democrat or otherwise, the more people vote, the better off we should be. Personally I am a Libertarian. I don't believe the govt has the right to tell me what I can or can't put in my body. I don't want to be protected "from myself" by whatever puritans happen to be in DC.

If hydro goes CII, then I will ask my PM to switch me to percocet, might as well if I have to go through all that trouble to get my prescriptions.
