Hello all:

I am on subutex maintenance, have been for about 6-7 months.
I am on 8-12 mgs a day. It is true this is a miracle med, it helped me get off the methadone clinic and now I only go to the doctors once every 2-3 months to pick up my scripts. The only thing I worry about with this med is the fact of the blocking agent in it. If I was ever to go into a hospital for surgery, broken bone etc. what would they give me for pain?? With methadone it was ok, I had no problems, but with this med, every opiate is blocked. Does anyone know of any expereince with this? In my opinion this is great for opioid dependency but not the greatest pain releiver.
