It doesn't last 12 hours for most people. Good court decision, because they (Purdue) did put out false information and then told chronic pain patients, "oh no-one else has a problem with this. Until I read so many stories on the Internet, I was convinced I had this ravening need for Oxycontin alone. I know it is great for many people, but Purdue should have the guts to market it with all its benefits, not with false claims that make already vulnerable people doubt themselves that much more.
