I'm quite sure that this 18 year old - who is legally an adult - did not mention on the questionnaire that he'd be mixing his hydro with morphine. If he had died from mixing hydro with heroin or cocaine I bet LE would still have gone after the OP physician instead of the drug-dealer.

It would be interesting to know if the medical examiner/toxicologist can determine whether or not he had enough morphine alone in his system to cause the overdose or whether (doubtful) the hydro was the contributing factor.

And yes, whether children are 4 or 40 they're still their parents' "babies" but referring to him as a "child" in this article seems to be a tactic to cause public outrage against the physician.
