Night Shade,
I completely agree with you, It never ceases to amaze me when I hear of the latest law suit being filed against large US Corporations, i.e. McDonalds for making kids fat, the woman who burnt herself because she put a hot cup of coffee between her legs while leaving the drive thru, and how about the man who thought his cruise control in his Winnebago was auto pilot!!!!!! Some lawyers in this counrty are just ridiculous, so $$$$ driven. It's disgusting and it affects us all via trickle down effect, I'm sure that this current Oxycontin class action suit will definately effect those that are in need of the drug, probably in way of an already expensive drug's costs getting hiked. I have a close friend that has to take Oxycontin due to Degenerative Disc Disease and she relys on this medication just to get thru each day, she has already been put thru the hoops because of this medication, she does not drive so the monthly trips to the dr and on top of that twice to the pharmacey (Due to the wait period) is hard on her, she also has had her house broken into twice because unfotunately she did not keep her rx information to herself as she should have. I feel so bad for her, she's late 50's and can not even stand up straight due to her back issues and has to go thru all this *best if kept off the board* just to get relif.....She's like so many other CP sufferers, they unfortunately pay the price for other people's(abusers, etc.)BS.
