Ozzy and Sharon were on Howard Stern a couple weeks ago. Ozzy has never had a problem admitting that he is an addict. He commented that he takes THIRTEEN Viagra at a time, and exceeds the dosage of EVERY medication he is prescribed. He is a prime example of a person at the end-stage of their addictive lifestyles.

I've said it before, MOST prescription pain medication addicts started out with legitimate need and became victims of the drug and or doctors. Most of us can sympathize with anyone who experiences withdrawal and how desperate they feel. And pain compounds the desperation.

I think the problem with celebrities and their problems is that their doctors are either afraid to say "no" or know that they'll just get it somewhere else...if you have the money, you can get anything you want. And we don't know if they were using to get high or using to maintain "normalcy" after becoming dependent to pain meds.
