Well, the idiotic "just say no" campaign was certainly Nancy's hobby, but the whole thing goes back much farther than that (prohibition is one example). Okay, point taken (and if you read my past posts, you'll see where I stand on Rush and politics in general), Homeland Security is just about the scariest thing ANY administration has introduced. Both Bushes (that's kinda funny) have reinvented what it means to be Republican (which I'm most definitely NOT). But isn't it true that the traditional Republican platform was less government? I think it boils down to law enforcement at all levels (DEA in particular) having to justify its existence. That's independent of who's in office. I wonder what Bobby Kennedy's stance on drugs in general was when he was the AG.
I'm tryin' real hard not to bash Rush, as I got bashed pretty good last time I did. I'm a little oversensitive when people pm me with nasty comments.
