As usual I agree with you totally on this issue. There is absolutely no reason for politics of pain to become a contentious issue, as we all share the same goals. If there is a political argument to be had regarding pain, it would be between anyone here and bo dietl. Past that, it's not necessary to have a heated debate within the chronic pain community. Some people tend to believe that one party in general is better for progressive thinking in drug legislation, which is poppycock because NEITHER of the big two stand up for drug legislation at the national level. None of the old men who have lived prohibition for years and years have any interest in giving ground on drug prohibition or advancement of pain legislation. There are NO reasons for heated political discussions to occur on this board, and our plight is FAR too important to quasi-justify them or allow them to continue. Now, as far as Rush goes, noone has a Best if kept off the board idea what he will say until he says it, so let's stop asserting our opinions as fact.
