Rush has so much power..think what an advocate he could have been....if his problem had anything to do with pain....
and if it did, why not find the best surgeons, the best PM docs...certainly he had the money, influence and contacts to do so...he could have been a great example of someone living with chronic pain, seeking treatment and brining to light the problems all chronic pain patients face...he didn't choose to do any of that...he didn't then, and he won't in the future...perhaps he'll think more before he puts others down for their own human failings...But given his track record on THAT, I really have a hard time feeling sympathy for him now....He didn't confess because he's humble & sorry, he confessed because he got caught...that's all....
