I feel compelled to address this issue.
I was raised catholic but I married a wonderful jewish woman. Our children are jewish as well.
We discussed the issue of abortion with her rabbi.
Rabbi: "In our religeon, a fetus is simply a part of a woman's body to do with as SHE sees fit until said fetus can live on it's own with no assistance"
This would include the ability to breathe on it's own which usually occurs in the 7th month of gestation.
Anyone feel free to check the validity of what the jewish stance on abortion is (and always has been).
