Re: Sensorship, the FCC, and what's going to happen..

Well said. Count on it. These same religious minority that are forcing their extremist point of veiws on what is "decent" and "acceptable" on the public airwaves are and will continue without a doubt to hammer on the op issue with the same zeal as they do the rest of our personal freedoms.

I am a christian. I have a personal relationship with my savior and lord. It is a personal relationship. You CANNOT FORCE someone to have these beliefs. You CANNOT FORCE someone to have a relationship with someone. You can arrange a marriage between two people, but you can't make them love each other.

These lunatics who claim to be doing these things in the name of Jesus Christ have lost sight of everything he stood for when he lived, and continues in my opinion to stand for today.

They are trying to force us into their point of veiw and their beliefs and that, as Hitler found out in Nazi Germany and Sadam found out in modern day Iraq and Beshuwa Mehonhahi found out in ancient Egypt.

People will always SAY they believe and support the people in power and they will go to marches and demonstrations etc etc but, you cannot and will not change what is happening in their hearts by force, only they can do that.

We are sending our best young men to a foreign land to fight and die (or worse, become disabled and have to live half lives of pain etc) so that people can live a life of freedom with the fear of another tyranical theocracy ruining their lives.

And yet, in our own country, on our own soil, we, a country that is founded on the principal that EVERYONE will be not only allowed to live a life free of government intervention ESPECIALLY where their religious preferences are concerned but also the right to say whatever they want whenever they want to whoever they want.

In our country, those freedoms are being taken away more and more everyday under this religious regime. As a veteran it sickens me. As an American it sickens me. As a Christian it sickens me. As a human being it sickens me.

These same people wrap themselves up in the flag in the same manner that Hitler did and Sadam did among others. It is the same thing (I am not saying that Bush is in any other way like Hitler by the way. I am only saying that what he is doing by refusing to seperate church and state is the same thing that these horrible icons of evil did during their regimes, in that, he is no better).

I am no Kerry fan. He isn't any better in many ways and a proven hypocrite but, he is all about freedom of speech and he is all about, as most democrats are, taxing us to death and spending the money on other stupid and silly things than destroying or invading our personal freedoms.

To me, I would rather pay Kerry and his people to stay out of my personal business then pay Bush to destroy it.

I pray that we all stand up and send these zealots home to contemplate their actions. I pray that they realize that they are no better than the Muslim extremists that they are fighting against.

Most of all I pray that they remember what it means to be an American and why we fought for our freedom over two hundred years ago.
