Unless things have really changed in past 25 years, most PO's are busy playing cards at lunch for three hours or doing their briefs for their law school class that night. They may require you to submit all kinds of paperwork, like credit card statements, but unless you're a high-profile politically sensitive case, they probably just file them. BUT keep in mind there are exception to every rule and there were some truely maniacal PO's out there, especially if they are involved in authoritarian, paternalistic religious movements - I knew a couple like that. Probably couldn't pass the personality stability tests to be a cop
