Hi Moonbeam, In 1996, while driving home from FT.Worth,Tex to my home in Kentucky, I got profiled on the interstate for the reasons you gave. I was a 42 year old male, never an arrest in my life and my driving was perfect!They saw me pass while they sat in the media, pulled out, trapped me behind a Semi, pulled me over and said I was following the semi to close. That was true as they trapped me behind it and the speed had dropped to 40mph when they lit me up.I spent 4 hours on the side of the Interstate as they disassembled my car.While they took apart my car, one of the drug cops said they stopped me because I was doing 63 in a 65 and clean cut men riding alone was near the top of their profile sheet. They found nothing, the dog got so tired sniffing that eventually they left with him. Don't believe for a second that they wait for a reason to pull me over and detain me on the side of the interstate. They created the traffic infraction but never mentioned it again after beginning the search. The police know all the minor rules/laws that they all fall back on if they just want you to pull over and let them search. I was humiliated to say the least. That's been my only encounter with the police and it was for driving safe?? If they want you, they will make a reason to get you. Soc
