The American people (well, most of us anyway)are not as stupid as our government would like to believe that we are. We do not need a "nanny government" to babysit us. We need Washington to treat us like the adults that we are, and trusting us to make intellegent decision for ourselves. Instead, they use the media to work us up into a frenzy of fear to the point that we don't know who or what to be afraid of anymore. They use scare tactics in order to chip away at our inalienable rights. They've got us scared of drugs, of guns, of communism, our neighbors, when in reality we should be scared of THEM!
