Let me guess - corticosteroid injections? PMDs are becoming less inclined to prescribe narcotics for joint pain more and more as the years roll by. I can identify and empathize with your situation being through three steroid injections, mountains of NSAIDS, physio, ultra-sound, TENS, blah blah. The "Narcotics are not indicated in this situation" line is like a drill into the side of my head. I would like to give them my shoulders and see how fast they change their tune. GRRRR . . . I'm turning huge and green.
