I'm new to the pain management scene. I went to a PMD on June 4. After he diagnosed me with facet joint syndrome he said narcotics were not indicated for this type of pain. I had just signed a contract in his waiting room re narcotics. Now I'm waiting to have a series of injections, etc. and am in a lot of pain continually. Maybe after his treatment, I'll be better. If not, maybe then he will consider some meds to help. Right now, I'm feeling kind of hopeless about the situation. This is why I use OPs occasionally.
