I have recently met a person that goes to a PM clinic, he had to sign the agreement as well. His Dr has him on oxycodone 5mg 6 per day. He stated that he has been a pt there for over a year and has never been called in to verify his meds, but did check his blood work, once. I'm having a hard time believing that an Er Dr would write these scripts all on one paper. I agree with Scott on this because it is illegal for a pharmacy to fill a scheduled drug if there is more than one med listed on it. Even if the Dr screwed up you would think the pharmacist would have caught it. My pain mgmt Dr, gives me 5 different scripts each month, on seperate script paper, 2 are scheduled meds, and 3 aren't, He uses the scheduled prescription paper for the meds that arent scheduled. i just wonder if the pharmacy, at some point ever mails these scripts back to the Dr, so that they can catch any fraudulent scripts?
