Hi Toe,

Just a comment about Madicaid vs Medicare. Medicaid is better because it pays for your prescriptions where as medicare doesn't. BUT, it is 100 times easier to find a DR. that takes Medicare compared to medicaid (medicare reimburses the Drs. a little more fairly) However, WHEN you are approved for your SSI or SSA, you will automatically get medicare also. So you will have 2 health coverges which is great, one of them will work as a primary while the other, a secondary. therefor, you will never have ant out of pocket expenses. I am glad that you got the food card, I tried and they told me that I make too much money on SS to receive....figure that one out.
