I had a client one time who died of his disability while his case was on appeal. No s--t. His ESTATE got the back pay.

Edited to add:

Obesity CAN be disabling--it is called gross obesity--you have seen folks that can't move because of their weight. Other problems ain't enough. My own son got his hand cut off and that don't count--he's got a college degree.
