This is truly the pits. Now my pain and my medication will be monitored by my government who cannot even monitor the foster care systems in this country. These are real privacy issues. How much pain I have and how it is treated should be a private issue between me and my doctor. Where are we going with all this? We need to get the government out of our personal business. Everytime we allow laws to be passed for our own good, even if the law is good, we contribute to this attitude of big brother watching us. We don't need the government making us safe. Safety is just an illusion anyway. The people in the WTC felt safe that day. We need to at least begin to fight the laws that infringe on our privacy in the name of safety. Let's be a little less safe. The safety is killing me.
