Carrying personal amounts of prescription medication on a domestic flight is not an issue. Airport security isn't looking for that kind of stuff. If you have been to any airport recently there is little time for discussion in the security line, unless you set off the detector or you are randomly searched. Besides, they are not law enforcement anyway.

Customs is entirely different, but you don't have to worry about that unless you are flying internationally.
