I have not flown since 1/2/03 domestically but when I do fly I always carry enough meds for 2-3 days on my person in case my bag gets lost. I take 3 different hypertension medications and my "other meds" in a little pill box in my shaving kit (no razor). They have never opened it and if they do they can look all they want to but if they start trying to pull out a PDR to ID my meds they are going to have a real problem. The searches are for items that can be used in assaults/felonies/aircraft destruction/flight crew interference, etc. If they start with me on by BP meds I am going to holler like a stuck pig until they let me go through--what am I going to do, give a steward a diuretic?
International is different. Have not done that (nor wanted to) since my son's flight out of Mexico was "delayed" on 9/11/01 and he had to spend an extra week in Mexico.
