Thanks for the links, especially the MIB link.
This is so scary to think all our health records are in some giant database. I've read all the posts re statewide databases, double dipping, etc. But to know that there is one central area insurance companies, etc. can check is frightening. And, of course, as the patient/consumer, we are the last ones to be able to obtain the information on ourselves, whether erroneous or not, and for a fee.
I'll pay their fee and check it out in the next couple of days. And will report back regarding the depth of this invasion of privacy.
