In regards to the "drug addicts", why can't people accept responsibility for their own actions? This blaming others for addiction is ridiculous. What has happened to self-accountability!!!! I am simply outraged by this story.

If a Dr. prescribed 40 Norco a day to a person, wouldn't that person have the common sense to not take that many knowing that it would lead to addiction? I am in no way referring to the good Dr. Talley's prescribing practices; just posing a hypothetical example.

Dr. Talley's experience just demonstrates why our own doctors are so pain-pill-o-phobic and prescribe us darvocet for a heart attack. Of course we have to turn to OP's and thank goodness we have them!!
