Re: refills from a regular pharmacy

I had a prescription for ambien at a local grocery store pharmacy and was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks. I tried to refill early but could not. I think ambien is schedule 3 or 4 but the reason I couldn't is b/c of my insurance. That seemed to be the only reason.

The pharmacist said, "hang on let me see (if you can get a refill). Sorry you can only get a refill every 23 days under your insurance."

Also, I could have transferred the script but since it was a scheduled med, I could only transfer it once. So I would of had to go out of town again to get the remaining refills b/c I wouldnt of been able to transfer it back, but the dr. would have to write a new script if i couldnt go get the script. Didnt want to risk that since my dr. gave me 6 refills for ambien.
